Happiness is such an elusive creature

A little look into my past, capped off by a frustrating rant from the present. YAY!
very well put indeed, I’ve come a long way since this video was made and I am confident with the skills I’ve gained in my voice since then and about the decisions for my future. Thanks for the support though, it means a lot.
Sweetie, don’t sell yourself to the crap farm. You may not get the exact voice you’re aiming for but a passable female voice will at least get you “ma’am”ed instead of sir’ed. Think of how many genetic women you’ve met that sounded like a sailor over the phone. I won’t be Little Miss Muffet but dam it all I’ll get ma’am & “hey baby” all day long by the time I’m through & so will you.
not really, though a lot of people seem to have the same theory when they find out I’m doing this. I never had trouble romantically, but I hated the shape of my body and I feel like my life will be much happier if I can change that. Though I probably will have a very hard time getting a date now, but that’s ok, being single the rest of your life is not as bad as it seems.
couldn’t get any chicks so you tried to act masculine that didn’t work so you try to become a chick?
this is a much older video made just after I started voice training.
why don’t you speak in the voice you had in your voice lessons??? you had like a very passable one in those
I totally feel your pain sister.
np, just a friendly suggestion.
Thanks for commenting though I do appreciate each one.
See my later videos, I’m progressing quite well after finding a private teacher.
I happen to think you’re beautiful. And my grandmother had a hardcore low voice - just remember women come in all shapes, sizes, and voice ranges.

hehe thanks, it means a lot to me to hear this kind of encouragement.
Whatever happens, don’t give up just because its not the easiest of routes. Going this far took a lot of courage. Don’t let others or your own fears & doubts stop your dream. Keep at it, and you will reach your dream, whether through success or acceptance… don’t worry.

I agree, and if your voice is anywhere as low as mine, perhaps you might enjoy listening to my latest voice practice, it gives me at least a little hope.
I’m having voice issues right now as well so I know where you’re coming from with that. It’s hard to change your voice. Especially when you’re around people who are used to your “normal” voice. We’ll get there, girl. Stay strong.

Don’t feel bad, hon,I know real women who have very low voices. Good luck to you in your transitioning. I wish you all the best and nothing but joy and happiness to you. I admire your courage to be who you are!:D
Dont feel down! Hang in there, you’ll eventually get to the voice you want.
You need to look around or maybe you have, such I have played around and my voice, it is higher so not a good example, but still there is a breakthrough point where you have like a gestalt experience and suddenly you don’t sound all fake and falsetto. I have listened to “guys” who are just starting (few months) and they can have a pretty good voice. Those were voice recordings on Andrea James site. It is possible, don’t give up. Please! :0)

You can indeed work on your voice. The TS Roadmap website also has info on how TS gals can raise the voice. You’ve got to get the voice OUT of your chest and IN your head. It is very doable, but takes a lot of practice on your own. You CAN do it, sweetie. No dangerous Peace Corps job for you! Like everything else, it is practice, practice, and more practice. You’ll be just fine.
I think your doing fine, stop worrying about your voice. You can reach me at anytime if you want to. We are going through the same thing.
Jennifer:)
I have to be straight with you, I don’t like trannys but…I respect your honesty concerning your trans status. It’s brave and honorable and I think if you do find someone to love you they will probably be proud to have found someone so open and straight forward. If I saw you on the street with my friends we would leave you in peace. Respect
i feel your anger hun i no how u feel , and them pictures well brought a tear to my eye , and dont belive that bolox on ts road map i let it hurt me for a wile , remember we are strong individuals , if you need to talk you no were i am love and hugs gemma xxxx
youe are so successful in your mission and of course you will be more!
Don’t give up, you have just begun. I sent you an email and you will be fine.
Thanks so much, I’ve been reading the comments on this video, and it really has made me feel better, I’m still doing the lessons and I am indeed beginning to see a primitive, sort of proto female voice. The positive encouragement really does help, perhaps I’ll make a more positive video about this theme soon…
Thanks again everyone!
Voice therapy is the only real way to go. Your voice will be fine. It’s just a matter of adjusting the quality. Hang in there! It’s sounds like it’s very important to you, so you’ll make it!!!
