I didn’t choose to be this way. I didn’t choose to have my own dysphoria smack me in the head like a hammer. We have the surgery, because it’s the only option available to give us some semblance of normalcy. I guess you’re kinda right though. there is a choice. Transition, or suicide. Some choice. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy, dearheart. I can appreciate the sentiments, but some education wouldn’t hurt things either.
Actually, having surgery isn’t to ‘become a girl’ because the individual would already be a girl mentally (if we’re talking about mtf transsexuals, don’t forget ftms!)

Thank you! I would’ve made a video myself but I didn’t trust myself to put it as well as you did. There’s too much anger and resentment on my part towards the oppression the lgbt community is put up against from others and for some to add on to that hate and frustration within one’s own community is frankly incomprehensable to me. My transsexual friends are without a doubt some of the most amazing human beings I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and their constant hardships just kill me.
