At least some people are brave enough to admit if they think they’re gender is wrong it takes a lot of emotional and physical stregnth to admit to being transsexual! People like Jake we should look up to because people aren’t afraid to admit what they think is right for themselves!

It’s a mental disfunction (though it compensates itself with an average of 30 extra IQ points!). It’s not a choice to become the ‘opposite’ gender, it’s a requirement for mental and emotional stability.

I was born a woman and I do love that and cherish that side of me but I also cannot ignore the fact that I feel like a man. I don’t think its fair to call trans people twisted. I think what’s twisted is that we are forced to live in genders we were never asked if we wanted to be in. Besides, what is male and what is female anyway? They are only social constructs.
no offense??? wow. you just called 1-2% of the entire human population “sick and twisted”! These people are just brave enough to show themselves to the world. You should consider yourself lucky that your gender identity matches your body and not be so insensitive. Imagine you where born as yourself but with a woman’s body, it might not be so easy…
no offense, but that sickens me and i think that it’s twisted. if you’re born a girl or vice versa, cherish that and be proud of it. i was born a guy and i wouldn’t want it any other way.
